Joe Jonas Says He’s Not Trying to Come for Anyone With New Album Following Sophie Turner Split
Apparently, Joe Jonas is not going to provoke Twitter war with the release of the Music for People Who Believe in Love.
Asked by HIvider during the Billboard interview that he gave recently, he said that he was ‘not trying to come for anyone on’ his second solo album, which is more than a decade after his first solo record, Fastlife, in 2011.
“It was scary at times, and also freeing,” Jonas said of working on his latest solo project, which he recorded the bulk of in two-and-a-half weeks. “I’m not aiming to disrespect any1 on this album. I’m not aiming to expose things. I have a good life that I thank God for. I’ve got two kids. I’m a contented man, and the music had to depict that journey but also the path to get there. ”
Another member of the band is Jonas who has experienced multiple shifts in his personal life in the recent past including his nasty divorce from Sophie Turner, an actress from Game of Thrones in 2023. The couple has two daughters for them.
“I think I was struggling a lot with life changes,” he said Australian for transition “, discovering who I was as a person and a father and a friend, and living under the lens of what the music industry can be And I think at a time when my life was so messed up I turned to music. ”
In an interview with Jonas, Billboard knew that the new album had originated with the song “Only Love,” but it was first made with the contribution of Jonas brothers, including Nick and Kevin Jonas. However, as he was writing this particular song, he manage to feel a certain way about it.
“I realized that it was going towards the area of some thing that happened to me” he said. “That’s when I run to Kevin and Nick: Hey, can I use this as a catapult to go find out what else this sound might be and what I’m trying to discern emotionally? Both were very supportive: Nick was like ‘Yeah man, that song is pretty good… But I get where you’re going with this… So yeah – do it. ’”
The new album from Train, Music for People Who Believe in Love will be out October 18 on the Republic label.
Jonas further said of the upcoming album, “At the core of it, if this body of work makes it easier for you navigate through what you’re going through, that is all I can really ask for. ”
