HS football players show skills at Bauer’s Elite combine
Football players of the local high school staged a combine in which they were able to demonstrate to few area colleges their aptitude and talents this previous weekend.
Over 100 players of six different states marked attendance to the Bauer’s Elite Training combine yesterday evening. From 20 colleges coaches spread over the upper Midwest, each of them watched the athletes many different running drills. Not only did the practice session take place, the players and coaches discussed a number of issues, which helped to solidify relationships as part of the recruiting process. The collegiate level, the result of which was a necessary tool for players to get settled in.
“This recruiting fair should serve as their real chance to move ahead of the competition, and show themselves off by raising their profile on each of the programs recruiting board”, Boston Bauer co-founder of Elite Bauer, said.
Real chances come for us to develop these kids. Through this we open the door to their future academically. These kids, after all, are not assured of getting in. Get them to do the hardest itself. Often, we had a lot of coaches proceeded to the upper level. And as we learn the process and what it takes to reach there, so we also become aware of what is “process” and what is needed to reach the goal,” said Canyon Bauer, the co-founder of Bauer’s Elite.
Elite’s Bauer’s team is about three years old and also runs 7-on-7 drills that have three players on each.
